A melt-blown single-layer structure is used in case of the regular nonwoven medical fabric. Those having 2 or 3-layer structure boast of a more robust antibacterial capability. Due to an absence of a melt-blown layer in regular non-medical nonwoven fabrics, there is no antibacterial ability in regular non-medical nonwoven fabrics.
Sterilization
